Events in Rome

Every month Rome dresses up in new colors and offers opportunities for ever-changing visits: a rich cultural and entertainment program in a city with a thousand-year history that amazes with its majesty, but which also hides corners of beauty and treasures less known to the general public.

On the first Sunday of every month, both the national cultural sites that the museums managed by Roma Capitale open their doors to the public for free. Be careful, though: in some cases a reservation is required, so always check the websites of the individual museums for access methods.

Every last Sunday of every month, you can visit the Vatican Museums for free from 9:00 to 14:00 (last entry at 12:30).
